Pro Bono – Thanksgiving Dinner Volunteer Opportunity

It is that time of the year again, Turkey Time!  But what if you are a homeless family?  For almost 15 years several student groups have come together and provided a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner to the resident families at St. Lawrence Place.  This gated community is home for formerly homeless families- providing them with supportive services and a safe environment for up to two years.  You can help by coming by the Pro Bono Program office and sign up to bring a food or supply item.  Can’t cook? not to worry, there are plenty of items that can simply be purchased and some do not even need to be heated!  We have made it easy to volunteer. You can also sign up to serve turkey dinner on the Nov 24th. This 2 hour event is the perfect way to be reminded of the season for giving.
